Ezra Aulder (5e, Homebrew Campaign)

Ezra "Ember" Aulder is a Warmage, a type of magus who seeks mastery of cantrips. They're a member of the Hammer Ridge Mercenary Explorer Guild, on a mission to hunt down his brother Edgar, who is alleged to have killed Ezra's guild mentor. Ezra travels with a band of freelancers known colloquially as The Fools on Their Feet, who have been caught up in the race to secure the fifteen Weave-Souls: individuals whose souls are linked to one primordial element of the world.
Ezra walks a middle path between opposing forces: Wee Jas, Goddess of Death and Fate; and Sa'Wert, Goddess of Change and Luck. To this end, Ezra possesses a special Tarokka card deck called the Fortune's Chosen that enables him to receive insight from both goddesses.
The duality of fate and chaos plagues Ember's psyche. It's somewhat frequently heard talking to itself, debating with a voice in his head about what exactly do we do with Edgar? While they know their duty and their fate is to duel and kill their brother, the guilt of such a revenge killing eats at them. Half of Ezra is resigned to destiny, while the other half pleads for a new path.
AJ Duran (Savage Worlds, East Texas University)

AJ Duran is a freshman student at East Texas University in Pinebox, Texas. He generally prefers the company of his textbooks to that of his fellow students. While an excellent student, he's not without his extracurricular interests. He's been a collector of mostly goofy spy gadgets since he was a kid, and his knack for chemistry draws him to alchemist characters in roleplaying games.
